The birth of a child is always an amazing moment, one which remains in the memory forever. Many people naturally wish to bring this new child to Church to say thank you to God for their arrival into the world.
St Andrew’s is delighted to help you consider carefully if you also wish for your child to be Baptised in the Christian Faith. We believe Baptism to be about parents and Godparents saying publicly that they want their child to be brought up knowing Jesus, and of course they are the people who accept most of the responsibility for ensuring this happens.
The Baptism is also arranged through the Parish Office, these are normally on the first and third Sundays of the month, but can occasionally take place in our main morning service.
Of course sometimes people have not been baptised as babies; we are always happy to talk and assist anyone who wishes to be baptised at any age, just get in touch.
