Our church school is hugely important to us, we share the same mission statement and are always working on building links between the church and the school.
The church building is used for several school assemblies each year including special Christmas, Easter and leavers services. It is lovely to see the church filled with so many children, their families and friends. The older children also join our Wednesday morning communion service from time to time and the Year 6 “lunch bunch” help out at our Thursday lunch club once a month.
Clergy attend school on a weekly basis to lead a whole school assembly and this usually links to the Christian value the children are learning about that half term.
