The Children’s Society strives to help children and young people feel valued, respected, free from poverty, prejudice and harm. They work with young runaways, deprived children, young offenders and children and young people in the public care system.
In December we held a Christingle Service and collected £220.76 which was forwarded to Head Office.
We have 45 households who have collecting boxes which are opened yearly or sometimes more often on request. This year we sent £1270.13 to Headquarters and this figure would be increased as part of the money had been gift aided.
